Every driver now scores, and every plan is in one place

League points now reward everyone who races. Every competition scores 4 points for a win, 3 for second, 2 for third, and 1 for everyone else who passes roll-through. Past rounds have been rescored the same way, so your points, your tier and your team's points may have gone up. Your points still count for you and for the team you raced for.

There's also a new Plans tab in the menu. It starts with the two free plans everyone gets: Street for drivers and Street Host for teams. Then come Double Yellow Plus for drivers and the host plans for teams. Both FAQs now open with every plan at a glance.

Street Host: host your own events for free

Every team can now host its own pop-up nights and series, even without a plan. Every team starts on Street Host, the free way to host, and earns free events with its team points.

Every 12 team points earns a free pop-up night, and every 48 earns a free series instead. Your points still count for your drivers and your team exactly as before.

To spend one, team owners go to My team and use Host an event: pick a pop-up night or a series, the date, time and tier, and send it to Mantis. Pop-up nights need 2 days' notice, and a series needs 14 so drivers can build their spec boards and practice. Street Host runs up to 2 free pop-up nights a month and 1 free series at a time. If a request is declined, or you withdraw it first, you get the free event back.

Teams on Pop-up Plus, Series Plus or Host Plus ask the same way, within their plan.

Clips in your gallery, and a welcome for new drivers

Team and streamer galleries now take short clips as well as photos. Add up to 6 photos and clips from Edit team page (or your streamer page editor). Clips can be up to 30 seconds long, as MP4, MOV or WebM, under 50 MB. In the slideshow they play muted, and anyone can open a clip full screen to watch it with sound.

New drivers get a welcome on their team page. For their first week, drivers confirmed onto a team show in a New on the team section above the roster, with a New tag on their roster card. That includes drivers moving over from another team. Coming back to a team you were on before doesn't count.

On team pages, the Team changes list now sits at the bottom, below the gallery.

Meet the judges: the Judges tab is here

There's a new Judges tab. Every approved judge gets their own judge page and judge card, showing the events they've judged, the battles they've called, one-more-time reruns, finals, contested calls and how many of those calls stood, and their rating from drivers.

Want to judge? Once your driver profile is approved, apply on the Judges tab and tell Mantis about your judging experience. From now on, host teams can only seat drivers Mantis has approved as judges, so apply before your team's next event.

Raced an event? You can review the judges who called it: 1 to 5 stars and a comment, one review per event, and you can change it later. Reviews are public, the judge can reply once, and Mantis hides anything unfair or abusive.

More control over your garage

You can now delete any of your competition spec boards, not just drafts, from the board's own page. It frees up a slot in your garage. If the board entered you in a round that hasn't started yet, your spot opens for someone else; results you've already won stay.

Tap a comfort car in your garage and its spec board opens right there, with buttons to edit the build or open its own page.

Your comfort car's spec board is yours to show off how you like: under Show on your board on the build form, untick any spec you'd rather keep to yourself, from the engine and horsepower to tire pressures, stretch, livery and build note. It stays saved in your build, just off the board. Comfort boards can now show tire pressure and stretch too. Competition boards always show everything, so judges can check your car.

Team owners get the Team Leader role on Discord

If you own a team on Double Yellow, you now get the Team Leader role on the Discord automatically, along with your team's role.

It works the same way as team roles: not in the server yet, and it's given as soon as you join; leave and come back, and it's given back. Hand your team to someone else and the role moves with it.

Comfort cars get their own spec board

Every comfort car in your garage now gets a real spec board on the Double Yellow theme, just like a competition car. Save it with an in-game photo and your car is put into the scene. No review needed: it shows on your driver page under My garage straight away.

Saving a comfort car or a spec board draft now takes you back to your garage. And tire stretch opens the number pad on your phone: on a spec board, just type the number and the minus is added for you.

Every series gets its own Discord category

Sign up for a series and you now get its own private category on the Discord, under the team running it. Inside: an announcements channel, a paddock chat for everyone in the series, a results channel, and a drivers' and a judges' voice channel for every round.

Round voice opens when entries open and goes once the night is over. Only drivers signed up for the series and its judges get in, whatever team they're on, and the whole category clears away when the series ends.

Team owners run their series' category: add and edit channels, post announcements and results, pin and clear messages, and mute or move people in voice. Who gets in still follows sign-ups on the site, so nobody has to hand out roles.

Pop-up nights work as before: a private drivers' and judges' voice channel under the host team's name.

Streamer cards and round recaps

Streamers who stream Double Yellow events now get a streamer card that fills in from their stream logs: events streamed, replays, recaps, clips and photos. The top streamers show on the standings page.

On race night, the round page shows who's live, and approved streamers link their stream. Afterwards they add their replay, clips and photos and send them for the recap. Drivers and judges can write notes about the night, private or public.

Once every streamer who went live is done, the round page shows the recap: replays, clips, photos and public notes. Stream CarX yourself? Make a streamer page from the Streamers tab.

Driver cards and tiers

Every driver now has a driver card: your picture, gamer tag, number, team, tier, favorite car and your record. It's first on your driver page and on My page. Add your own card photo from My page (your face, helmet, rig, anything you like), or it uses your Discord picture.

Driver tiers are live too. Everyone starts in Bronze and moves up through Silver, Gold and Platinum with points, competitions, podiums and wins. Your tier shows on your card, your driver page and the Drivers list, and every series and pop-up night shows its competition tier on Events, the schedule and the round page. The FAQ has what each tier needs.

Your team's home on Discord, built for you

Once your team owner confirms you on the site, you get your team's role on the Double Yellow Discord and its private category, usually within a minute or two. Not in the server yet? Tap Join the Discord on the site and it's sorted as soon as you join.

Every team category comes with parked-up for team chat, represent for liveries, clips and wins, tune-shop for builds and spec boards, and Jibber Jabber and Practice Lobby voice. Only your team can see it.

Roles are re-checked every few hours, so a lost role comes back on its own, and your team role takes the main colour from your team page. Leave the team and the role is removed.

Race-night voice is private: only the drivers signed up and the judges get in. Want to watch? Catch it live from one of our streamers.

Double Yellow has its own address

The site now lives at doubleyellowleaguehub.com.

Old links still work and take you to the same page at the new address, so nothing you've shared breaks. Update your bookmarks when you get a chance.

Pop-up nights: 2 days' notice, entries close 4 hours before

Every pop-up night is now posted at least 2 days before it starts, so you always have time to build a spec board for it. That goes for every host, team owners included.

Entries for a pop-up night close 4 hours before it starts. Series rounds close when the round starts. Rooms hold 16 people, drivers and judges together, so entries also close once a round is full.
